It will not start and when I try to run it separately I get the same system error messages that code execution cannot proceed because the following dll files cannot be found.

The $TEMP folder is usually C:\Users\YourUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp and the logfile is runGIMP-2.10.6-std-(long series of numbers).log Rerun GIMP and when GMIC crashes exit out of it. If I click on gimp.exe, libgexiv2-2.dll is missing. I could not launch it: ScriptsComplex entry point not found in GDIE32.dll. Tried with Windows 7 Home on d:\Gimp-2.10.6-std\. I have built the portable version which won't affect your current installation.
I don't have access to Windows 7 or 8 machines and so it'd be good if someone can volunteer at least on those machines. I'm looking for volunteers to test my new build.

I will wait till you find time for an update I appreciate anything you do for the GIMP geeks, PS: On a personal note, it has been a very busy time for me. Nothing from Mitch and so have not been looking into it. You know, I never saw an announcement for the 2.10.6 release. I would wait with the install if you do so. Will you make an update for the new version?
